Prisma Health Pediatric Nephrology–Sumter

Prisma Health Pediatric Nephrology provides comprehensive evaluation and management of the following conditions:

• Hypertension.
• Hematuria.
• Proteinuria.
• Nephrotic syndromes.
• Congenital uropathies, including hydronephrosis and urinary reflux.
• Renal tubulopathies, including RTA.
• Electrolyte abnormalities.
• Glomerulonephritis.
• Chronic kidney disease, including dialysis and transplant follow up.

We are accepting new referrals for all nephrology-related conditions and hypertension for patients up to 21 years of age. We hope you and your patients will be pleased with the quality of our service as well as the convenience of care close to home.

We are available 24 hours a day for phone consultation. During regular business hours and for referrals to our Sumter and Florence clinics, we can be reached at 803-434-3572. After hours and on weekends, the on-call nephrologist can be reached through the Prisma Health Children's Hospital–Midlands paging operator at 803-434-7000. We look forward to serving the needs of your patients.

To make an appointment, give us a call. Referrals are required for new patients. Please remember:

• Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete a few forms.
• Bring insurance card and photo ID (such as a driver's license).
• Bring all medications you are currently taking.
• If you must cancel your appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance.
