Car seat safety checks in the Midlands
Car seats and boosters provide protection for infants and children in a crash, yet car crashes are a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13. That is why it is so important to choose and use the right car seat correctly every time your child is in the car.
At Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands, we offer appointments for car seat and booster seat safety checks. Appointments include car and booster seat installation and education for caregivers.

Monthly car seat classes
The Injury Prevention Program at Prisma Health Children's Hospital offers child passenger safety classes for parents and caregivers every fourth Thursday each month from 6–7 p.m. This class provides an overview of best practices to keep your child riding safely in your vehicle.
